Photos of Baby Naming Ceremony

I was invited to photograph a baby naming ceremony in a bamboo forest recently. It was an honour to be a part of. Ritual is scarce in our modern western world and this day was beautiful to behold. The bamboo forest where it was held is in Crystal Waters Eco-Village in the south-east Queensland, Australia and boasts many varieties of bamboo. I am hoping to organise to take more photos in that idyllic setting soon. Thank you to the gorgeous families who shared such a precious day with me.

  1. That is a very special place. Bamboo has a particular vibration. I had the pleasure of attending the marriage of two very special people there, and it was one of the most profoundly moving experiences i have had. Much to say the magic had a lot to do with the intention, and the attention, as it is shown so beautifully by your images on this occasion as well. Thanks for sharing .
