This photo was taken for a friends “look book” for the end of her fashion Tafe course. The cloak, the model, the forest! My oh my! Felt as though I was in the Lord of the Rings.
It’s been a long time between posts. I have started my course. I am busy. But oh so INSPIRED! Above is one of my assignments. A composite image. I have never really created a “real” composite image before, but am excited by the possibilities. I have oodles of ideas for other composite images.
I love the fact that you can create a fantasy world and tell a completely surreal story. I am all for photoshop in this regard and am stoked with all the new skills I have. Here’s to creativity in motion. Here’s to taking steps towards your dreams. Create your world. Live it. Love it. x
As a photographer I am lucky to live in a naturally gorgeous part of the world with beautiful friends who not only let me photograph them but actively ask for me to. I am a lucky lady and had a blast taking these photos recently down by a local swimming hole. Tanz you are one hot babe! Thanks a bunch x
I was invited to photograph a baby naming ceremony in a bamboo forest recently. It was an honour to be a part of. Ritual is scarce in our modern western world and this day was beautiful to behold. The bamboo forest where it was held is in Crystal Waters Eco-Village in the south-east Queensland, Australia and boasts many varieties of bamboo. I am hoping to organise to take more photos in that idyllic setting soon. Thank you to the gorgeous families who shared such a precious day with me.
