Neal's farewell-112

I’m working on a collage to do with the ANZAC theme. I took this photo of one of my late grandfather’s photos when we all went to farewell him in February this year. He had a whole album full of intriguing black and white images. A lot of them from his time with the Australian Navy. I so wish I had the opportunity to talk to him about all these photos. Another time perhaps?

I’ve had a busy couple of weeks. I was knocked over with a two day, snot-filled cold and then flew to Melbourne and then drove from Melbourne to Mildura (6hrs)

with my dad and my siblings to attend the funeral of my 93yr old Grandpa, Neal. It was a sad occasion to be sure, but we managed to give it the feel of a celebration and even dressed up

in his clothes for a photo homage of Neal and his great sense of timeless style. It was also officially the first time all of his grandchildren have been in the same place at the same time.

So as you can imagine I didn’t have much time for the ol’ blog and my weekly stills collection.

I am catching up now.

Neal's farewell-1

After 6 hours in the car with nothing but dry, mostly barren countryside we finally arrive.

Far out! it is already February! Happy year of the Horse. A year for putting hard work into action for me. The fact that I am still keeping this project up is fantastic and a good sign. I have been taking photos. Could be taking more…. but I am working on that.

A photo a week… perhaps even more…

I have heard people talking about little photo projects that get them to be more active with their photography…..

Well the time has come for me to embark on my own little motivation / inspiration fueling project.

A photo a week….. at least one perhaps even more…..

I am going to be quite relaxed with the rules of my project…. But will try and upload at least one new photo a week for the rest of the year… heck for the rest of my life time!

Cluck. Cluck. Cluck. Baby Photos.

Here they are. They photos of the absolutely divine Francesca. Oh my. This baby was an angel to photograph and be in the presence of. She would just stare into you. Almost straight through you. Still in between worlds perhaps? I’ll let you judge for yourself.

Well? Cute as hey?! Thanks Frankie, Nina and Blake. Beautiful little family. xxx
