Twin Fins

I find myself missing you

The complementary nature of our energies

is like no other before

I find myself missing you

Since our friendships inception

Every moment has been shared

Now too far away to call

for no apparent reason

Late at night

Early in the morning

When the sun is it’s highest in the sky.

I find myself missing you

Under a similar sky

Feet planted on different patches of earth

Separated by the ocean

VAST

I will find myself missing you

Until we swim together again

In the same see

Twin fins

You see

Are

You

and

I

The ocean. Vast.

Poetry

I’ve been delving back into my poetry writing again lately. Such an amazing form of release. I’ve never really shared it before… except for with my besties and some members of my family. But there is always a first time and now feels about right for popping my poetry-sharing-to-a-wider-audience-cherry.

Mountain Top

Tattoos

And

Low riders

Empty Rock stars

Seagulls

Pigeons

White bread folk

At their finest

I don’t often

Venture

Down from

The mountain

Top

But when I

Do

I am reminded

Why

I

Don’t

Taking a photo

There’s a penis

between us

seems to always

get a smile

Shooting from the hip

with the aim

of getting that

“money shot”

So long as my face

is at the right angle

please hide

my double chin

As I would like to appear as I am not

If you know what I mean

we get each other

and for that

i am always grateful

the knowledge

of you

makes swimming

these turbulent waters

seem all the

That is all for now folks. Enjoy. And thank you.
